•目前2005年全球手機用SAW Filter，總需求量約在27億顆，約47.5億美元。除EPCOS為德商外，仍以日商為領導廠商，其中Matsusita、Murata、松下電子部品囊括約五成的比重，其餘為韓商SAMSUNG子公司SEMCO的7%等。其中，EPCOS是全球SAW filter的第一大廠市佔率約達24％，其前身是由Matsusita 及 Siemens各持股12.5% 於1999年所建立，其SAW Filter的技術領先地位，早被業界所認同，除SAW元件外，亦生產其他被動元件如電容、電感等。
•而目前SAW Filter國內廠商，生產者主要以嘉碩為主，而由於在手機應用面，由於競爭者眾毛利較低。因此，目前主要應用面轉向以汽車電子為主，約佔產品比例達35%。而其切入的關鍵，在於幫美RFM（知名的SAW 元件廠商）進行代工，因此，其銷貨主要以通用、福特、克萊斯勒等美國車廠為主。
•SAW Filter作用是把雜訊濾掉，比傳統的LC濾波器安裝更簡單、體積更小，廣泛應用在行動電話、呼叫器、Wireless LAN、GPS、Cable modem及STB等產品，其中以手機為最主要的應用產品，是行動電話的關鍵零組件，SAW filter功能在過濾雜訊並只讓特定頻率的訊號通過，具有高頻特性。一般而言，GSM單頻手機約需用到1～3顆的SAW filter、CDMA單頻約需2～4顆、GSM雙頻手機約需3～5顆、CDMA雙頻約需7～10顆。
